To create a great product, it's necessary to move raw materials and finished product from one place to another. However, the carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels (from trucks, ships, etc.) is harmful to the planet.
To balance the harm, we offset it using carbonfund.org. Carbon Fund is a non-profit that uses third-party certification to calculate the footprint of our product's initial raw materials to it's end-of-life. Our initial offset supports a renewable energy project that installs wind turbines in India.
We feel this is another great step in making quality products that put people and the planet first.
