Let's Raise Money for Osovi's Foster Home!
We have started a Go Fund Me to raise funds for Osovi Foster Home, an all girls orphanage in Honduras. They need some sprucing up around the house and we would love your help to get them exactly what they need!
Founded in 1987, the Osovi Foster Home welcomes girls who are in vulnerable conditions. Osovi provides nutritional, psychological and medical care, clothing, education and basic needs. There are currently 20 girls residing there, from ages 1-18 years old.
We asked them what they need and that could be done around the Home, and here is what they requested:
Their list of immediate needs are as follows:
20 bedroom dressers
2 washing machines and 2 dryers
3 dining tables + 30 dining chairs
20 fans
1 microwave
Various Kitchen Supplies
Hygiene and Feminine Products
Home Repairs: painting, hanging pictures, shower drainage, etc…
The estimated cost will be about $15,000 and all these supplies will be purchased in their local community.
The Allmade team, along with some of our customers will be visiting Honduras in April, and we are so excited to be there to help them with their wish list. A couple of our customers are muralists and will be doing some fun artwork throughout the Home, some other customers are great handymen/handywoman and will do some repair work around the Home, and everyone else is going to roll up their sleeves to get the job done!
