Founded in 1992 in Coimbatore, India, Augustan Knitwear is a vertically integrated garment manufacturer, performing knitting, dyeing, cutting, and sewing within its 100% owned and operated facilities.
Augustan is committed to transparency, traceability and environmentally conscious business practices and is proud of its significant impact on upward mobility and development within its surrounding community.
Environmental Impact
Augustan is constantly exploring practices to reduce the environmental impact of its production processes. Solar generated power, water harvesting, and waste recycling are just a few examples of how Augustan is constantly innovating to improve upon its production’s carbon footprint.
Augustan believes that it must not only follow the current standards of the day but should be at the forefront of finding new and innovative ways to make the production process more sustainable.
